20세기말에 4명의 메신저들이 21세기를 향해 전화 부스에서 메시지를 전하고 있는 장면

좌측부터 ---교통 수단으로부터, 혹은 화력 발전을 위해 내뿜는 매연의 이미지

플라스틱 & 환경 호르몬의 배출로 인해 떼 죽음을 당한 물고기들의 이미지

도시의 인구 과다로 인해 밀집한 마천루, 밀집 건축의 내/외부 이미지

주거 미비로 인해, 산속에서 거주하는 이미지 등

우측 상단의 어린이 이미지는 (Negative 음화) 이미지로 미래를 책임져야 할 우리들의 후손들이 감당해야 할 문제로, 이를 부각 시키기 위해, 어린이의 표정이 매우 심각하게 그려져 있다.

아래 3명의 여인의 이미지(좌측부터) <석고상>, <사이보그>, <평소의 여성> 이미지로 이 시대의 미래가 어떤 결론을 자아낼 지에 대한 의문을 그대로 드러내는 3가지 대구적인 결론을 보여주고 있는데, 석고상—현실에 대한 침묵, 사이보그—과도한 문명 현상의 어두운 현실로 인간성의 파괴를 은유적으로 드러내며, 현실의 여성 이미지는 좌우가 나뉘는 색상의 표현으로 긍정과 부정의 갈림길에 놓여있는 상황을 반영하고 있다.

전화 부스에서 메시지를 전하는 사람들도 각기 다른 인종으로 그려져, 글로벌한 사회문제가 다급하게 전해야 할 긴급한 상황이라는 것을 그들의 표정 및 안색으로 짐작할 수 있다.
