우주주의
나는 밤하늘을 보고 엄청난 양의 별을 본다. 하지만 허블 망원경이 바라본 우주는 나의 눈으로 감지하기 어려운 곳을 바라본다. 우주에는 거시적 관점에서 수백억 개의 별로 이루어진 은하가 수백억 개 이상 존재한다. 그것은 헤아릴 수 없을 만큼 무한대의 공간 속을 채운다. 인간은 이제 우주 공간을 탐색하는 초기에 로켓을 장착한 우주선을 만들고 달에 도달했고 태양계의 행성에 직접 우주선을 보내기도 한다. 이러한 시기에 우주선에서 배출하는 쓰레기들, 폐기된 인공위성들이 궤도를 이탈하여 공간을 더럽히기도 한다. 나는 우주 미흡한 지식을 가지고 이러한 우주를 표현하려고 애를 쓰고 있다.
I look at the night sky and see an incredible amount of stars, but the universe as seen by the Hubble telescope goes beyond what my eyes can detect. On a macroscopic scale, the universe contains tens of billions of galaxies with tens of billions of stars. They fill an unfathomable infinity of space. Humans are now in the early stages of exploring outer space, building rocket-powered spacecraft, reaching the moon, and even sending spacecraft directly to the planets of our solar system. During these times, spacecraft debris, decommissioned satellites, and other debris are thrown out of orbit and pollute space. I am trying to represent this universe with my limited knowledge of space.
