Every dog has his day (쥐 구멍에도 볕 들 날 있다.)
노력하다보면 인생의 어느 시점에는 성공할 날이 있다는 의미인데, 우리말 속담 "쥐구멍에도 볕들 날 있다.", "개똥밭에 이슬 내릴 때가 있다.", "고랑도 이랑 될 날 있다." 등과 유사하다. 결국 누구에게나 '해뜰날'이 있다는 은유적 표현.
It means that if you work hard, there will come a day when you will succeed in life. It is similar to Korean proverbs such as "Even a rat hole gets a day when the sun shines," "There is a time when dew falls on a dunghill," and "Even a furrow will one day become a ridge." In the end, it is a metaphorical expression that everyone will have a day when the sun rises.
